Returning home to Australia, and to your family and friends, is certain to be an emotional experience, and not always an easy one.

'Re-entry culture shock' refers the difficulties in readjusting and readapting to your home environment after living overseas, and it will take time - maybe longer than you expect - to feel comfortable again in Australia.

Returning to study at QUT also presents its own challenges, as you will have spent the previous semester or two at an overseas universities, where teaching and learning styles may have been very different.
