The QUT International Exchange Bursary is administered by the International Relations Unit (IRU), Division of Research and Advancement. Each semester, busaries are available for exchange to specific partner institutions to further develop the exchange relationship. A list of bursaries is published each semester.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

  • hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident status
  • be currently enrolled in a coursework program at QUT
  • undergraduate students must have completed at least 96 credit points at time of departure; postgraduate coursework students must have completed at least 48 credit points at time of departure.
  • have achieved a minimum GPA of 4.75 (cumulative) in their QUT program
  • have approval from their Course Coordinator for the proposed overseas study program, including confirmation that a minimum 36 credit points of course work on campus will be awarded on successful completion of the program.
  • be planning a minimum twelve (12)-week study program overseas
