International Christian University
Tokyo, Japan

ICU is a small bilingual liberal arts university located in one of the suburbs of Tokyo.  The student body is largely Japanese but each year welcomes more than 100 students from countries througout the world. QUT students participating in the exchange program to ICU undertake the Japan Studies One-Year Program, which consists of courses about Japan in English and instruction in the Japanese language. Students have a choice of subjects from the following areas: Japanese History, Art and Literature, Japanese Society, Religion, Education and Communications, Japanese Politics, Economics, and International Relations.

This program is open to QUT undergraduate students studying Japanese as part of their degree.
