Studying at QUT is likely to be different to study at your home institution. QUT's International Student Services can provide advice and assistance to help you do well. The QUT Handbook also has details of the university's Student Rules, Policies, and Procedures. Credit TransferOn completion of a semester/certificate or year/diploma at Queensland University of technology, each student will be provided with an official transcript of the results. Information about QUT’s grading scheme is available in the Manual of Policies and Procedures (MOPP) under section 6.5.8 Final Grades. For advice on credit transfer you should consult your study abroad advisor at your home institution. As a guide for European students: 48 QUT credit points are equivalent to 30 ECTS (European Credit Transfer Scheme), meaning that the standard 12 credit point QUT unit is equivalent to 7.5 ECTS. As a guide for American students: 48 QUT credit points are equivalent to 12 credit hours, meaning that the standard 12 credit point QUT unit is equivalent to 3 credit hours. |
