QUT's three campuses are located in Brisbane, the capital city of the state of Queensland, Australia. Brisbane itself has a population of 1.6 million people while the greater Brisbane area, which includes Brisbane city and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, has almost two million people.

Brisbane is a modern, multicultural, and vibrant city that is small enough to be welcoming while still big enough to have all the attractions you would expect of a major capital city.

Brisbane is known as Australia's most liveable city because it is clean and safe and has a subtropical climate of warm summers and cool, sunny winters. Find out more about living in Brisbane.

The three campuses

QUT's campuses are Gardens Point in Brisbane's city centre, Kelvin Grove just two kilometres from the city, and Carseldine in Brisbane's north. The campuses each reflect a different aspect of Brisbane's diverse and cosmopolitan lifestyle, and are easily accessed by public transport.

Free shuttle buses are available to transport all QUT students between Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point campuses (18 buses in each direction per day) and between Kelvin Grove and Carseldine campuses (seven buses in each direction per day).
